The Prepared EMS Career Development Program is built for candidates working toward a career in EMS or the Fire Service. We take where you are right now and turn it into a clear, personal plan to get hired, coached by people who have sat on both sides of the table.
Who It's For
Candidates pursuing a career in EMS or the Fire Service, from first-time applicants to working EMTs and paramedics ready to make the move.
How It Works
- Register. Once you enroll, we email you our candidate intake questionnaire.
- Tell us where you stand. The questionnaire covers your background, application history, certifications, education, work experience, and your financial picture for getting through an academy.
- Get your coach. An assigned Prepared EMS coach reviews your intake, line by line.
- Get your plan. Your answers are built into your own Candidate Development Manual, a complete game plan for the hiring process.
Coaching Sessions
The program includes three in-person coaching sessions with your coach. There are no prerequisites, and you can enroll anytime. Sessions are scheduled around your availability and your coach's.
